Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) refers to its previous announcements on the aforesaid matter, the latest being on 25 May 2022 as contained in Part B: Note 10 (a) of TM Group’s Q1 2022 Financial Results released to the Exchange wherein the Learned Arbitrator has on 19 April 2022 sent the Draft Final Award to the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC).

TM wishes to announce that it has today, received the Award on liability dated 6 July 2022 from the SIAC, as follows:

1. Vodoke Pte Ltd’s (VPL) Claims are dismissed;
2. TM’s counterclaims that VPL was liable for inducing or procuring a breach of the agreement between Vodoke Nusantara Pte Ltd and TM and/or VPL was liable to TM for the debts owed by Vodoke Nusantara Pte Ltd to TM, are dismissed; and
3. TM’s counterclaim that VPL was liable for actionable misrepresentation is allowed. It is ordered that there be an assessment of TM’s loss and damage so suffered.

TM shall make further announcement if there are any material developments in respect of this matter.
