We refer to the announcements dated 24 August 2022 and 30 August 2022 (Announcements). Unless otherwise stated, the definitions used herein shall have the same meanings as set out in the Announcements.

On behalf of the Board, CIMB Investment Bank Berhad (CIMB) wishes to announce that TM had, on 5 September 2022, received the approval from Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (Bursa Securities) for the listing of and quotation for up to 74,432,762 new TM Shares to be issued pursuant to the DRS in respect of the Interim Dividend (DRS Exercise), on the Main Market of Bursa Securities. The approval granted by Bursa Securities is subject to the following conditions:

(i) TM and CIMB must fully comply with the relevant provisions under the Main Market Listing Requirements pertaining to the implementation of the DRS Exercise;

(ii) TM and CIMB to inform Bursa Securities upon the completion of the DRS Exercise;

(iii) TM to furnish Bursa Securities with a written confirmation of its compliance with the terms and conditions of Bursa Securities’ approval once the DRS Exercise is completed; and

(iv) Payment of additional listing fee, if any, based on the final issue price together with a copy of the details of the computation of the amount of listing fees payable.
