We refer to the announcements dated 24 August 2022, 30 August 2022 and 6 September 2022 (Announcements). Unless otherwise stated, the definitions used herein shall have the same meanings as set out in the Announcements.

On behalf of the Board, CIMB wishes to announce that the issue price of the new TM Shares (New Shares) to be issued pursuant to the DRS, which is applicable to the entire Interim Dividend of 9.0 sen per TM Share in respect of the financial year ending 31 December 2022, has been fixed today (Price Fixing Date) at RM5.41 per New Share (Issue Price).

The Issue Price represents a discount of RM0.3416 or approximately 6% to the theoretical ex-dividend volume weighted average market price (VWAMP) of approximately RM5.7516, which was arrived at after taking into consideration the:

(i) five (5)-day VWAMP up to and including 8 September 2022 (being the last trading day prior to the Price Fixing Date) of approximately RM5.8416 per TM Share; and

(ii) the Interim Dividend.
