1) Introduction

Pursuant to Paragraph 9.19(19) of the Main Market Listing Requirements (Main LR) of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (Bursa Securities), Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) wishes to announce that Packet One (L) Ltd. (POL), a wholly owned subsidiary of TM Technology Services Sdn. Bhd. which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of TM, has at its Extraordinary General Meeting held on 23 May 2024, obtained approval to commence a Member’s Voluntary Winding Up in accordance with Section 131(1) of the Labuan Companies Act 1990 applying Section 439(1)(b) of the Companies Act 2016 [CA 2016] (hereinafter be referred to as the “the Winding Up”).

Pursuant thereto, Datuk Chin Chee Kee JP of Noblehouse Financial Services Ltd., located at Level 1, Lot 7, Block F, Saguking Commercial Building, Jalan Patau-Patau 87000 Federal Territory of Labuan has been appointed as Liquidator of POL for the purposes of the Winding Up with all the powers to act given by Section 456 of CA 2016.

2) Information on POL

POL was incorporated on 11 May 2012 under the Labuan Companies Act 1990 as a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) as an investment holding company.

The issued and paid up share capital of POL is USD3,997.99 comprising 2 ordinary shares.

The Company has ceased operations and remained dormant.

3) Rationale for the Winding-up

The Winding-up exercise of POL is part of the rationalisation and streamlining exercise of TM Group.

4) Financial and Operational Impact of the Winding-up

The Winding-up will not have any material effect on TM Group.

5) Directors' and Substantial Shareholders' Interest

None of the Directors and Substantial Shareholders of TM or persons connected with them has any interest, direct or indirect, in the Winding Up.
