Tan Sri Yong Poh Kon is currently the Chairman of Royal Selangor International Sdn Bhd. director of GS1 Malaysia Berhad and a member of Trustee of the Malaysian Institute of Economic Research (MIER). He has previously served as a board member of Bank Negara Malaysia, Employee Provident Fund, AYER Holdings Berhad, RAM Holdings Berhad and Nestle Berhad. He was also the former President of the Federation of Malaysia Manufacturer (FMM) and was a member on the Economic Council in the Prime Ministers Office. In 2007, he was appointed to Co-Chair with the Chief Secretary of Malaysia on PEMUDAH, a Special Task Force to Facilitate Business until September 2013. Previously he was also Chairman at the Board of Trustees of Steinbies Malaysia Foundation and a founder of the Malaysia Mensa Society. |
