On behalf of the Board of Directors of TM, Maybank Investment Bank Berhadwishes to announce that:

(i) TM DC Educity Sdn Bhd ("TM DC Educity"), an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of TM, has on 18 June 2024 entered into a conditional joint venture agreement with Nxera MY Pte. Ltd. ("Nxera MY"), an indirect subsidiary of Singapore Telecommunications Limited, and ST Dynamo DC Sdn Bhd ("ST Dynamo DC" or "JV Company")to jointly develop, establish and/or operate greenfield data centre facilities in Johor, Malaysia through the JV Company for purposes of theProposed Joint Venture; and

(ii) ST Dynamo DC had on 15 June 2024 entered into a conditional sale and purchase agreement with River Retreat Sdn Bhdfor the proposed acquisition of a freehold land measuring approximately 168,959 square metres located in Mukim of Pulai, District of Johor Bahru, State of Johor in conjunction with the Proposed Joint Venture.
