Introduction

Pursuant to Paragraph 9.19 of the Main Market Listing Requirements ("Main LR") of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (“Bursa Securities”), Telekom Malaysia Berhad (“TM”) wishes to announce that TMF Services Sdn Bhd (Company No. 368727-M) (“TMF Services”), its subsidiary held via TM Facilities Sdn Bhd (Company No. 365637-X), has commenced members' voluntary winding-up on 15 February 2016 (the "Winding-up") in accordance with Section 254(1)(b) of the Companies Act, 1965.

Pursuant thereto, Encik Mohd Afrizan bin Husain of Aftaas Corporate Advisory Services Sdn Bhd, 2, Jalan Rampai Niaga 2, Rampai Business Park, 53300 Kuala Lumpur was appointed as the Liquidator.

Information on TMF Services

TMF Services was incorporated on 28 November 1995 to provide total facilities management services to TM Group. Its authorised and paid-up capital is RM1,000,000 comprising of 1,000,000 ordinary shares of RM1.00 each.

In 2009, the operation of TMF Services was transferred to TM and the company has since remain dormant.

Rationale for the Winding-up

The Winding-up exercise of TMF Services is part of the rationalisation and continuing streamlining exercise of TM Group.

Financial Effects of the Winding-up

The Winding-up of TMF Services will not have any material effect on the consolidated earnings and net assets of TM for the financial year ending 31 December 2016.

Directors' and Substantial Shareholders' Interest

None of the Directors and Substantial Shareholders of TM or persons connected with them has any interest, direct or indirect, in the Winding-up of TMF Services.
