We refer to our previous announcements dated 16 February 2005 and 13 May 2005 in respect of the claim instituted by Rego, a wholly owned subsidiary of Technology Resources Industries Berhad (“TRI”) which is in turn wholly owned by Telekom Malaysia Berhad's subsidiary, Celcom (Malaysia) Berhad (“Celcom”) against Aras Capital and TSDTR. TSDTR had filed a Counterclaim in the action, naming Rego, TRI and various directors of Rego and/or TRI, namely Mr Tan Poh Keat, Datuk Azzat Bin Kamaludin, Encik Bazlan Bin Osman, Encik Ismael Fariz Bin Ali and Dato' Mohamed Yunus Ramli Bin Abbas (the "Directors") as defendants in the Counterclaim.


Subsequently, Rego, TRI and the Directors filed their respective application to strike out TSDTR’s Counterclaim.

We wish to announce that the applications to strike out TSDTR’s Counterclaim which were filed by (i) Rego (ii) TRI and (iii) the Directors were today dismissed with costs by the Senior Assistant Registrar.

Rego, TRI and the Directors are presently seeking legal advice on today’s decision.
