We refer to our previous announcement dated 18 May 2006 in respect of the dismissal by the Senior
Assistant Registrar (‘SAR’) of the applications filed by (i) Rego Multi-Trades Sdn Bhd (‘Rego’) (ii)
Technology Resources Industries Sdn Bhd (‘TRI’) and (iii) the directors of Rego and/or TRI, namely Mr Tan
Poh Keat, Datuk Azzat Bin Kamaludin, Encik Bazlan Bin Osman, Encik Ismael Fariz Bin Ali and Dato'
Mohamed Yunus Ramli Bin Abbas (‘the Directors’) to strike out the Counterclaim instituted against them by
the 2nd Defendant, Tan Sri Dato’ Tajudin Bin Ramli.


We wish to clarify that Rego is the wholly owned subsidiary of TRI, which is in turn wholly owned by

Telekom Malaysia Berhad's wholly owned subsidiary, Celcom (Malaysia) Berhad.

We wish to announce that Rego, TRI and the Directors have today filed Notices of Appeal to the Judge in

Chambers against the SAR’s decision of 18 May 2006.

TM will make announcements from time to time in respect of any material developments in this matter.
