We refer to our announcement of 13 April 2006 in relation to the dismissal of MCAT GEN Sdn Bhd’s
("MCAT") application for an interim injunction against our wholly owned subsidiary, Celcom (Malaysia)
Berhad ("Celcom") on 13 April 2006.


We wish to announce that Celcom’s solicitors have today been served with a Notice of Appeal filed by

MCAT with the Court of Appeal against the said decision of 13 April 2006.

No hearing date has yet been fixed for the said appeal.
