("MOBIKOM") AND THE STATUS OF THE WINDING-UP PETITION BY INMISS COMMUNICATION SDN BHD ("INMISS") AGAINST MOBIKOM

With reference to Telekom Malaysia Berhad’s (“TM”) announcement to Bursa Malaysia on 23 January 2006, TM wishes to inform that the Court has, on 7 February 2006, dismissed Inmiss‘ ex-parte application for leave to commence committal proceedings against certain directors and officers of TM and its subsidiary, Mobikom.


Meanwhile, the following applications by Inmiss and Mobikom were heard today and, after hearing both parties, the Court has adjourned these matters to 28 February 2006 for hearing:

a) Inmiss’ application to appoint a provisional liquidator; and
b) Mobikom’s application for stay of the winding-up proceedings.

The Winding-up Petition is also fixed on 28 February 2006 for mention.

TM will make further announcement of any material development on the above matter from time to time.
