This is to inform that the above announcement which was made to Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad ("Bursa Securities") on 13 January 2006 on public shareholding spread for Telekom Malaysia Berhad ("TM") should read as follows:-

Pursuant to a letter dated 2 December 2005 from Bursa Securities on the above matter, TM is pleased to announce the following information in relation to the level of its public shareholding spread as at 31 December 2005:-

1.	% of public shareholdings	47.35%
2.	Number of public shareholders holding not less than 100 shares	19,700

The number of public shareholders holding not less than 100 shares should be 19,700 instead of 1,605,904,604 which was the number of shares held by the said public shareholders.
