Circumstances by reason of which change has occurred 1. Disposal of 18,900 shares by HSBC Nominees (Asing) Sdn Bhd for account of SAGI, a subsidiary of Singapore Airlines Ltd ("SIA"). Since SIA is a subsidiary of Temasek, Temasek is deemed to be interested in these shares.
2. Disposal of 10,000 shares by SAGI.
3. Disposal of 150,000 shares for the discretionary fund account of FPL managed by Fullerton Fund Management Company Ltd. By virtue of Temasek's 100% shareholding in FPL, Temasek is deemed to be interested in these shares

Remarks :
The total number of securities of 179,947,500 includes 8,148,200 underlying shares in covered warrants purchased in the name of HSBC (M) Trustee Bhd as trustee for discretionary mandates managed by Hwang DBS Investment Management Bhd ("HDIM"). HDIM is a subsidiary of Hwang-DBS (Malaysia) Bhd which is in turn approximately 23% owned by DBS Vickers Securities (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. ("DBSVM"). DBSVM is a subsidiary of DBS Group Holdings Limited ("DBS") which is in turn approximately 28% owned by Temasek. Temasek is deemed to have an interest in shares of Telekom Malaysia Berhad managed by HDIM by operation of S6A(4) of the Companies Act, 1965.

The percentage holding of 5.31% was based on TM's total issued and paid-up ordinary shares as at 18 October 2005.
