We refer to our previous announcements dated 22 February 2005, 25 February 2005 and 9 March 2005 in respect of the abovecaptioned matter.


Pursuant to the Sacofa Agreement dated 22 February 2005 between Celcom, Sarawak Electricity Supply Corporation ("SESCO") and Sacofa, the disposal by Celcom to Sacofa of 6,787,730 ordinary shares of RM1.00 each in CT Sarawak for a total consideration of RM19.6 million to be satisfied by the allotment and issuance of 9,815,940 ordinary shares of RM1.00 each representing 16.05% equity in Sacofa to Celcom has been completed today.

Celcom will eventually own a total 20% equity in Sacofa upon completion of the Tower Sale Agreement for the disposal of 12 Communication Towers owned by Celcom to Sacofa.
