We refer to our announcement dated 30 August 2013 in relation to the Sukuk Wakalah Programmes (“Previous Announcement”). On behalf of TM, CIMB Investment Bank Berhad and Maybank Investment Bank Berhad are pleased to announce that TM has today made its first issuance of IMTN of RM200 million in nominal value with tenure of 7 years pursuant to the IMTN Programme in accordance with the salient terms and conditions of the Sukuk Wakalah Programmes as set out in the Previous Announcement. The proceeds raised from the issuance of the IMTN will be utilised by TM to meet its capital expenditure and business operating requirements, including for its high speed broadband services which shall be Shariah-compliant. This announcement is dated 18 December 2013. |
