On behalf of Telekom Malaysia Berhad (“TM”), CIMB Investment Bank Berhad wishes to announce that Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (“Bursa Securities”) has approved the request for suspension for the trading of TM’s shares with effect from 9.00 a.m. on Thursday, 27 March 2014.

The request for suspension is made under subparagraph 3.1(b)(v) of Practice Note 2 on Requests for Suspension of the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Securities (“Listing Requirements”) in view that TM intends to enter into a transaction which requires an announcement to be made pursuant to Chapter 10 of the Listing Requirements.
