We refer to the above news article appearing in the Asian Wall Street Journal, page 31, on Tuesday, 5 December 2000, wherein it was stated as follows :-

"The state-run telecommunication's company increased the total amount of the offering to $300 million from a planned $250 million..."

We wish to inform the Exchange that further to the previous announcement made by Telekom Malaysia on 20 November 2000, the Company has decided to increase the total amount of Notes offered from US$250,000,000 to US$300,000,000 in order to meet investors requirements. Telekom Malaysia made the decision to increase the total amount of Notes offered in conjunction with its Joint Lead Managers, Deutsche Bank AG London and Merrill Lynch International.
