Further to the announcements made to the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange on 13th and 27th July 2001, Telekom Malaysia Berhad is pleased to announce that the above mentioned Proposed Divestment was deemed completed on 6th September 2001 upon full settlement of the total cash consideration of USD245.0 million (RM931.0 million based on the current exchange rate of RM3.80 per USD) from the purchaser Shin Corporation Public Company Limited.
