Reference is made to the announcements dated 27 August 2001 and 18 April 2001 made by Arab-Malaysian Merchant Bank Berhad ("Arab-Malaysian") on behalf of TM respectively.
On behalf of TM, Arab-Malaysian wishes to announce that VADS' appeal for the Employee Share Participation Scheme ("ESPS") shares to be priced at the proposed price of RM1.10 has not been approved by the Securities Commission ("SC") in view that the ESPS involves the issuance of new shares of VADS to employees. However, SC has informed that it has no objection towards the pricing of the ESPS shares if the scheme involves the sale of VADS shares held by TM.
In view of the above, TM and VADS will be reviewing the listing structure. Any changes to the listing structure will be announced in due course.
