Subject WINDING-UP PETITION AGAINST CELCOM (MALAYSIA) BERHAD BY INMISS COMMUNICATION SDN BHD

We wish to announce that our wholly-owned subsidiary, Celcom (Malaysia) Berhad (“Celcom”) has reached an amicable settlement with Inmiss Communication Sdn Bhd (“Inmiss”) in respect of the claim for RM17,702,019.79 brought by Inmiss against Celcom and various claims by Celcom against Inmiss for services rendered. The settlement sum is RM1,600,000.00, which is in full and final settlement of all claims.


As part of the settlement, Inmiss has today filed a Notice of Discontinuance for the Winding-up Petition No. D3-28-1134-2002 filed against Celcom. Similarly, all other legal proceedings related to the above have been withdrawn.
