With reference to the announcement dated 27 March 2002, Arab-Malaysian Merchant Bank Berhad on behalf of the Board of Directors of TM is pleased to announce that the Securities Commission has approved the revisions to the listing proposals of VADS vide its letter dated 29 April 2002, subject to VADS obtaining the approval of the Foreign Investment Committee ("FIC") before implementing the revised listing proposals. An announcement will be made upon the receipt of the approval from the FIC.
