Telekom Malaysia Berhad ("TM") wishes to announce that the Companies Commission of Malaysia has, pursuant to Section 308(2) of the Companies Act, 1965 ("the Act"), struck off Masterpage Sdn Bhd ("Masterpage"), its wholly-owned subsidiary, held through Celcom (Malaysia) Berhad, from its register under Section 308 (4) of the Act with effect from the date of the publication of the Government Gazette dated 8 April 2004 ( a copy whereof is made available to the public on 13 April 2004).

Masterpage has been dormant for more than a year and TM has no intention to continue the company's business in the foreseeable future.

The de-registration of Masterpage is not expected to have any material effect on the earnings or net tangible assets of TM Group for the financial year ending 31 December 2004.

None of the Directors and Substantial Shareholders of TM or persons connected with them has any interest, direct or indirect in the de-registration.
