The query from the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange ("the Exchange") dated 14 August 2002 in respect of the following statement appearing in the New Straits Times, Business Times Section, page B5 on Wednesday, 14 August 2002, refers:

"LOCAL Internet service provider TMNet Sdn Bhd, expects its revenue this year to surge by at least 30 per cent to RM400 million..."

We wish to clarify and confirm that the correct statement made by Encik Baharum Salleh, the Chief Executive Officer of TM Net Sdn Bhd was as follows:

"TM Net Sdn Bhd is targeting a revenue of about RM400 million for 2002 compared to a revenue of RM304 million achieved last year."

We refer to the above news article appearing in New Straits Times, Business
Times section, page B5, on Wednesday, 14 August 2002, a copy of which is
enclosed for your reference.
In particular, we would like to draw your attention to the underlined sentence,
which is reproduced as follows:-
"LOCAL Internet service provider TMNet Sdn Bhd expects its revenue this year to
surge by at least 30 per cent to RM400 million ..."
