The Board of Directors of Telekom Malaysia Berhad (“TM”) wishes to announce that, pursuant to the publication in the Gazette dated 18 November 2004 of the notice from the Companies Commission of Malaysia under Section 308(4) of the Companies Act, 1965, its wholly-owned subsidiary, Technology Resources Manufacturing Sdn Bhd (“TR Manufacturing”), held via Celcom (Malaysia) Berhad (“Celcom”), has been struck off with effect from the date of the publication of the Gazette of 30 November 2004. The Gazette was obtained by Celcom on 8 December 2004.

The de-registration of TR Manufacturing is not expected to have any material effect on the earnings or net tangible assets of TM Group for the financial year ending 31 December 2004.

None of the Directors and Substantial Shareholders of TM or persons connected with them has any interest, direct or indirect, in the deregistration.
