Subject RELEASE OF LIQUIDATOR AND DISSOLUTION OF MALAYSIAN MOTORHOMES SDN BHD (IN LIQUIDATION) PURSUANT TO SECTION 239 OF THE COMPANIES ACT, 1965

Contents :

Telekom Malaysia Berhad (“TM”) wishes to announce that further to its earlier announcements on 24 September 2004 and 26 July 2004, the Liquidator of its 62% subsidiary, Malaysian Motorhomes Sdn Bhd (in liquidation) (Company No. 183152-V) (“Motorhomes”) held via Celcom (Malaysia) Berhad had, on 3 November 2006, obtained from the High Court of Malaya at Kuala Lumpur the following orders:-


(1) The release of Encik Wan Idris Bin Wan Ibrahim as the Liquidator of Motorhomes; and

(2) The dissolution of Motorhomes pursuant to Section 239 (a), (c) and (d) of the Companies Act, 1965.

Consequently, Motorhomes is effectively dissolved and ceased to be a subsidiary of Celcom with effect from 3 November 2006.
