We refer to the offer document in relation to the Offer dated 23 May 2003 (“Offer Document”).

TESB and TM wish to announce that the closing date for the Offer has been extended for an additional 14 days from 13 June 2003 (referred to as the “First Closing Date” in the Offer Document) to 5.00 p.m. (Malaysian time) on 27 June 2003. All the other terms and conditions of the Offer remain unchanged.

Pursuant to Section 25(1) of the Malaysian Code on Take-Overs and Mergers, 1998, TESB and TM wish to announce the level of acceptances for the Offer, as set out in the table below:
