We refer to our announcement on behalf of TESB and TM on 19 June 2003. As stated in the announcement, TESB will invoke Section 34 of the Securities Commission Act, 1993 to compulsorily acquire the remaining Offer Shares for which acceptances have not been received by TESB after the close of the Offer.

In view of the above, on behalf of TESB and TM, Commerce International Merchant Bankers Berhad wishes to announce that TESB will procure that an application be made to the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange (“KLSE”) after the close of the Offer for the removal of Celcom from the Official List of KLSE.
