We refer to our announcement dated 5 April 2011 in relation to the Sukuk Programmes (“Previous Announcement”). On behalf of TM, CIMB Investment Bank Berhad and AmInvestment Bank Berhad are pleased to announce that TM has today made its first issuance of RM150.0 million nominal value ICPs pursuant to the ICP Programme in accordance with the principal terms and conditions as set out in the Previous Announcement. In accordance with the terms of the Sukuk Programmes, TM shall be able to utilise the Sukuk Programmes from time to time and issue ICPs and/or IMTNs to meet its capital expenditure requirements which shall be Shariah compliant, provided that the aggregate outstanding nominal value of such ICPs and/or IMTNs shall not exceed RM2.0 billion at any point in time.
