Prior thereto, he was the Deputy Secretary General, Treasury (Systems & Controls), MOF. Having served the Government for 30 years, Dato’ Mat Noor's career in the Malaysian civil service started in May 1981 as an Agriculture Economist at the Federal Agriculture Marketing Authority (FAMA) before joining the Economic Planning Unit (EPU) of the Prime Minister's Department in 1983. He has since continued to serve the EPU in various capacities. His last position in EPU was Deputy Director General I before joining MOF in October 2011. |
