We wish to confirm that Telekom Malaysia Berhad (“TM”) has not made an offer to Media Prima to take up 30% stake in TM Net Sdn Bhd, as reported in the above article.
We wish to also inform the Exchange that the above statement was not attributed to any sources from TM and it is not TM's policy to comment on matters, which are speculative in nature.
We refer to the above news article appearing in The Edge Malaysia, 29 January
2007, page 1, a copy of which is enclosed for your reference.
