We refer to our previous announcement dated 28 August 2006 whereby Celcom filed an application to strike out the Statement of Claim against Celcom and Kamsani on the basis that the suit discloses no reasonable cause of action or alternatively is scandalous, frivolous or vexatious and/or is otherwise an abuse of the process of the Court.

We wish to announce that the application to strike out the Statement of Claim against Celcom and Kamsani was dismissed with costs today by the Senior Assistant Registrar.

Celcom and Kamsani will be filing the notice of appeal against the said decision.
