We refer to our previous announcement dated 14 July 2005, on the commencement of members’ voluntary winding-up of its subsidiary, namely, Aseania Plastics Sdn Bhd (Company No. 185085-H) (“Aseania”) held through Celcom (Malaysia) Berhad, Telekom Malaysia Berhad wishes to announce that the General Meeting for the members’ voluntary winding-up of Aseania was duly held on 13 August 2007.


As background information, the principal activity of Aseania was the manufacturing of injection moulding parts and Aseania had ceased operations since 1 November 1992.

Pursuant to Section 272(5) of the Companies Act 1965, Aseania would be dissolved with effect from 12 November 2007.
