Telekom Malaysia Berhad (“TM”) wishes to announce that further to its earlier announcement on 12 June 2007, its wholly-owned subsidiary, Celcom (Malaysia) Berhad has on 23 August 2007, obtained an Order from the High Court of Malaya at Kuala Lumpur pursuant to Sections 60 and 64 of the Companies Act, 1965 confirming the proposed capital repayment by Celcom to its sole shareholder, Telekom Enterprise Sdn Bhd (“TESB”) to be implemented on the terms of the special resolution passed by TESB on 17 May 2007.


The relevant order is in the process of being filed and extracted and an office copy of the order for the Capital Repayment will be lodged with the Companies Commission of Malaysia for the Capital Repayment to take effect accordingly.
