The Board of Directors of TM wishes to announce that the Company has made a request to Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (“Bursa Securities”) for the suspension of all its shares until 5.00 p.m. on 28 September 2007.

The request for suspension is made under subparagraph 3.1(a) of Practice Note No.2/2001 on Request for Suspension of the Listing Requirements of Bursa Securities as TM intends to make a material announcement on a corporate proposal on 28 September 2007.
