We refer to our announcement dated 1 December 2010 (Reference No. TM-101122-46637) in relation to the Members’ Voluntary Winding-up of the following wholly owned subsidiaries of Telekom Malaysia Berhad:-
a) Telekom Malaysia-Africa Sdn Bhd (in liquidation) (“TMA”); and b) TM Cellular (Holdings) Sdn Bhd (in liquidation) (“TM Cellular”). We wish to announce that the Final Meeting for the Members’ Voluntary Winding-up of TMA and TM Cellular were duly held on 4 July 2011. Pursuant to Section 272(5) of the Companies Act, 1965, TMA and TM Cellular would be dissolved upon the expiry of three (3) months after the lodgement of the Form 69 i.e. Return by Liquidator Relating to Final Meeting, with the Companies Commission of Malaysia (“CCM”) and Official Receiver. The Forms 69 of TMA and TM Cellular were duly lodged with CCM on 5 July 2011. As such, TMA and TM Cellular would be dissolved effective from 4 October 2011. This announcement is dated 6 July 2011. |
