We refer to our announcements on 22 February 2011 and 21 April 2011 in respect of the Memorandum of Understanding (“MoU”) between TM and Celcom Axiata Berhad (“Celcom”) to cooperate strategically in providing complete fixed and mobile solutions.
Under the terms of the MoU, TM and Celcom shall collaborate and work together to determine the viability of the following services:-
Pursuant to the MoU, TM and Celcom Mobile Sdn Bhd (“Celcom Mobile”) had on 3 June 2011 executed the HSBB Services Agreement whereby Celcom Mobile has agreed to subscribe for the HSBB (Access) services. TM wishes to inform that both TM and Celcom are still in negotiations to conclude and finalise the HSBB (Transmission) services under the HSBB Services. With regards to the other definitive agreements which are DSL Services, FNS and MVNO Services, the parties endeavour to execute the said agreements by 30 September 2011 or such other date as may be mutually agreed in writing by the Parties. Any major developments pertaining to the definitive arrangements would be highlighted in due course. This announcement is dated 21 July 2011. |
