| Contents | We refer to our announcement dated 22 March 2007 relating to the dismissal of Celcom (Malaysia) Berhad’s (“Celcom”) application to strike out the claim instituted by MCAT (Gen) Sdn Bhd (“MCAT”) before the Senior Assistant Registrar (“SAR”) and Celcom’s subsequent appeal to the Judge in Chambers against the whole decision of SAR. On 29 January 2008, the Judge in Chambers has dismissed Celcom’s appeal against the dismissal of Celcom’s application to strike out the claim with costs. Celcom is presently seeking legal advice on the matter and TM will make announcements from time to time in respect of any material developments thereof. |
