| Contents | Telekom Malaysia Berhad (“TM”) refers to its previous announcement dated 29 July 2008 (and subsequent announcements dated 1 August 2008 and 19 September 2008), in which it was announced that the High Court had, on 9 July 2008, granted Mohd Shuaib Ishak leave to bring the Suit (as defined in the announcement dated 29 July 2008) against TM, its wholly owned subsidiary Telekom Enterprise Sdn Bhd and 19 others in Celcom’s name, under Section 181A(1) of the Companies Act 1965. Celcom filed an appeal to the Court of Appeal against the said decision. The Court of Appeal today allowed Celcom’s appeal and set aside the Order of the High Court dated 9 July 2008 with costs. A further announcement will be made on any material development. |
