| Contents | We refer to our announcement dated 1 April 2009 [TM-090401-6BB17] and are pleased to announce that Telekom Malaysia Berhad ("TM") has received a payment of approximately RM2,093.0 million from Axiata today in line with the terms of the Demerger Agreement dated 10 December 2007. The payment of RM2,093.0 million represents the full settlement of the remaining amount owing from Axiata to TM of RM2,025.0 million, together with interest earned on the monies of approximately RM68.0 million. This announcement is dated 24 April 2009. |
