Subject	KUALA LUMPUR HIGH COURT (COMMERCIAL DIVISION) CIVIL SUIT NO. D-22-1268-2009 NETWORK GUIDANCE (M) SDN BHD v TELEKOM MALAYSIA BERHAD AND TM NET SDN BHD
Contents	On 11 August 2009, Telekom Malaysia Berhad ("TM") and its wholly owned subsidiary, TM Net Sdn Bhd ("TM Net") were served with a writ of summons and statement of claim by Network Guidance (M) Sdn Bhd ("NGSB") in connection with a purported joint venture in regard to a project described in the statement of claim as "Fine TV Services".
NGSB is seeking from TM and TM Net jointly and severally the following relief: (a) (i) special damages in the sum of RM7,000,000.00; (ii) interest in the sum of RM1,000,000.00; (b) further or in the alternative loss of profit of RM500,000,000.00; (c) an injunction restraining TM by itself, officers, servants or agents to continue to use information otherwise than for the purpose for which it was communicated; (d) further in the alternative, an account of all profit made by TM Net from the use of information; (e) exemplary damages; (f) aggravated damages; (g) general damages; and (h) interest and costs. TM and TM Net have appointed solicitors to represent them in the above legal suit and will vigorously defend the claim. Further announcement will be made on any material development.
