Subject	ACCEPTANCE BY TELEKOM MALAYSIA BERHAD ON THE GOVERNMENT’S AWARD ON THE CONTRACT FOR THE PROVISIONING OF THE BROADCAST NETWORK AND MAINTENANCE SERVICES FOR RANGKAIAN TELEVISYEN MALAYSIA (“RTM”)
Contents	Telekom Malaysia Berhad (“TM”) is pleased to announce today on the acceptance of a Letter of Offer from the Government of Malaysia (“the Government”) for the provisioning of Network and Maintenance Services (“the NM Services”) for the transmission of RTM’s television and radio programmes in Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah and Sarawak. In addition, TM will be providing the Internet Protocol Virtual Private Network Services (“the IP VPN Services”) for connecting RTM’s regional studios to their main studio at Angkasapuri, Kuala Lumpur. The total value of the project for a period of three (3) years is Ringgit Malaysia One Hundred Seventy Million and Four Hundred Thousand (RM170,400,000.00) Only. With the acceptance of the Letter of Offer by TM, the parties will enter into a formal agreement (“the Contract”) based on mutually agreed terms and conditions in due course. Further details and relevant information would be announced upon the execution of the Contract between the Government and TM. None of the Directors or major shareholders or persons connected to the Directors or major shareholders of the Company has any direct or indirect interest in the Contract.
