We refer to the announcement dated 24 February 2012 in relation to the Proposed Capital Repayment. On behalf of TM’s Board of Directors, CIMB Investment Bank Berhad wishes to announce that TM, via its legal counsel, had on 21 June 2012 presented to the High Court of Malaya at Kuala Lumpur (“High Court”) a petition filed pursuant to Section 64 of the Companies Act, 1965 to obtain confirmation of the High Court on the Proposed Capital Repayment approved by the shareholders of TM at its Extraordinary General Meeting held on 8 May 2012. This announcement is dated 21 June 2012. |
