Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) refers to its previous announcement dated 22 June2020 wherein it was announced that it has received a Statement of Claim dated 19 June 2020 fromVodoke Pte Ltd (VPL).

TM wishes to announce that it has on 5 September 2020, filed its Statement of Defence and Counterclaim dated 4 September 2020 against VPL at the Singapore International Arbitration Centre.

Amongst others the relief sought by TM against VPL in the Counterclaim are:

(a) damages to be assessed;

(b) further, an order thatVPL refundor pay TM forthe costof the 30,000 units of Set-Top Boxes purchased by TM;

(c) interest at such rate and from such date as the Tribunal thinks fit to the date of the award;

(d) interest at such rate as the Tribunal thinks fitfrom the date of the award to full realisation;

(e) costs; and

(f) such further or other relief as the Tribunal deems fit and proper to grant.

TM shall make further announcement if there are any material developments in respect of this matter.
